Job Description
The GES Central Customer Experience team supports 130 customers across the Midwestern United States by delivering professional services that help clients realize the full value of their Cisco investments. This role supports one VP, with the potential to add support for additional Directors.
This role can be performed from any location within the United States, with a strong preference for working CST or EST hours. The application window is expected to close on August 16, 2026, though the posting may be removed earlier if the position is filled or sufficient applications are received.

Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in an administrative environment.
- At least 2 years of experience supporting a principal at the director level or above.
- Expert-level knowledge of Windows desktop applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with calendar management, meeting planning, and travel coordination.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to connect with executive and senior staff and clients.
- Strong interpersonal skills, independent judgment, integrity, initiative, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.
- High-tech industry experience desired; prior Cisco experience preferred.
- Associate degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage the VP's calendar by prioritizing schedules and meetings and determining appropriate attendees or delegates.
- Coordinate the VP's speaking engagements and collaborate with the communications team to ensure preparation and content needs are addressed.
- Plan and organize meetings, including agendas, locations, meeting technology, logistics, briefing documents, notes, and post-meeting action items.
- Prepare travel packs for international trips and major domestic events, combining event information, travel logistics, and customer or team requests.
- Act as an authorized proxy for communications and approvals, answer general questions, route routine matters, follow up on completion, resolve issues, and recommend when executive action is required.
- Provide mentoring to administrative community members on problem-solving.
- Arrange and manage the VP's global travel and expenses, including optimizing itineraries and coordinating available airline upgrades and benefits.
- Provide analytical support for executive special projects by researching issues, analyzing problems, compiling data, and preparing reports.
- Prepare and brief itineraries and accompany the VP at large corporate events such as GSX.
- Handle sensitive and confidential matters and materials professionally.
