Job Description
Outpost is an orbital logistics company rewriting the rules of global logistics by building reusable Earth-return vehicles that unlock in-space manufacturing, on-orbit warehousing, and 60-minute global delivery through space.
We are seeking an Executive Assistant to support the President in an in-person role based in Playa Vista, California, five days per week. This person will anticipate needs, solve problems proactively, manage details with precision, and bring calm, clarity, and strong execution to a fast-moving environment.

Compensation includes an annual salary of $85,000–$125,000, equity participation, performance-based bonuses, medical, dental, and vision insurance, disability and life insurance, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and catered lunch, snacks, and coffee.
Requirements
- Proven experience supporting senior executives or founders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills.
- Calm under pressure and comfortable managing competing priorities.
- Tech-fluent, including Microsoft Office and AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT.
- Professional presence and emotional intelligence, with the ability to interact effectively with high-level partners and internal teams.
- Comfortable exercising discretion and handling sensitive or confidential information.
- Willing and able to handle tasks of all sizes and types to keep operations running smoothly.
- Able to exercise sound judgment, take initiative, and complete tasks independently with minimal oversight.
- Able to work on-site in Playa Vista five days per week.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a protected individual as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15, or eligible to obtain authorization from the U.S. Department of State.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of scheduling and calendars, coordinating internal and external meetings with attention to detail and context.
- Keep the President informed of their day, week, and upcoming commitments through daily briefings, evening summaries, and timely reminders.
- Support inbox management with a goal of achieving inbox zero.
- Edit and draft external emails, notes, and memos.
- Escort executives to calls and meetings, ensure they stay on schedule, and adjust plans in real time when needed.
- Track follow-ups, priorities, and action items.
- Lead logistics for key meetings and events, including drafting agendas, confirming attendees, reserving space, and coordinating with Operations and IT.
- Prepare digital briefing books containing bios, logistics, and talking points.
- Conduct research and prepare background materials.
- Proofread presentations and documents for accuracy and polish.
- Book travel, including flights, lodging, ground transportation, and itineraries.
- Submit and track expense reports.
- Be available outside standard office hours for urgent or time-sensitive needs.
- Support reception-related duties, including greeting guests, coordinating visitor logistics, and ensuring a professional front-of-house experience.
