Job Description

Family in New York City are seeking a highly experienced Personal Assistant / Household Manager to help manage their life and properties. This is a newly created role intended to centralize oversight across multiple residences and serve as the main operational point person. The principal and family maintain homes in NYC, the Hamptons, California and Europe. They currently have support staff across properties, but are looking for one strong, capable individual based in New York who can bring structure, oversight, and accountability to the entire operation.

This role requires someone who is both strategic and hands-on, comfortable managing property-level financial coordination and vendor relationships, while also handling personal tasks with equal care and follow-through.

Requirements

  • Significant experience supporting a UHNW principal in a similar Executive PA or Household Manager capacity
  • Direct experience managing multiple properties and household staff
  • Strong organizational and financial coordination skills
  • Proactive, self-directed, and comfortable working with minimal oversight
  • Flexible and responsive; able to adapt to shifting priorities
  • Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally as needed
  • High level of discretion and emotional intelligence

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40+ hours/week. Occasional weekend work and travel as needed. Flexibility required, as workload may fluctuate depending on property needs

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all property and household-related matters
  • Oversee housekeeping teams, nanny, and other support staff across residences
  • Coordinate with attorneys, accountants, and financial professionals regarding property taxes, insurance, and related obligations
  • Manage bill pay and general household financial administration
  • Travel independently to properties to oversee maintenance, vendor work, and preparation
  • Ensure homes are fully stocked, staffed, and ready prior to family arrival
  • Coordinate travel planning, vacations, hosted gatherings, and events
  • Manage service providers and contractors, ensuring quality and follow-through
  • Handle a mix of high-level operational responsibilities and everyday personal tasks with professionalism and humility
