We are looking for an Executive Assistant to join us onsite in San Francisco, providing dedicated support to two investment team partners in a high-velocity, high-stakes environment. The ideal candidate is a thoughtful, professional communicator who is hyper-organized, calm under pressure, discreet with sensitive information, and proactive in anticipating needs. This role requires excellent judgment, enthusiasm for venture capital, and a passion for driving efficiency for the partners and broader firm.

Total compensation range: $150,000-$175,000 annually.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Executive Assistant role, preferably supporting C-level leadership within venture capital, private equity, or a relevant financial services industry
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of professionalism and discretion
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently and proactively with minimal direction
  • Strong ability to manage ambiguity, exercising sound judgment when instructions are incomplete
  • Preference for AI fluency and the ability to seamlessly use the modern technology stack used by the firm, including Microsoft Suite, Zoom, Slack, Dropbox, ChatGPT, and Claude
  • High degree of discretion and trustworthiness in handling confidential information
  • A collaborative, team-first mindset with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through
  • Calm, even-tempered, and resilient under pressure
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Calendar & Schedule Management: Manage complex, high-volume calendars for two investment team partners; proactively structure and prioritize time for meetings, travel, board commitments, and deal work; and anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Communications & Correspondence: Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders; draft, manage, and triage correspondence; and adapt communication style to each partner's preferences and working style.
  • Travel & Logistics: Coordinate detailed, frequently changing travel arrangements and manage expense reporting and related administrative logistics.
  • Cross-Functional & Firm-Wide Coordination: Balance individual partner priorities against broader firm-wide goals and deadlines, and partner with investment and operations teams to ensure alignment.
  • Deal & Portfolio Support: Prepare briefing materials and background context for founder, board, and LP meetings; support diligence processes by coordinating calls, materials, and follow-ups; and coordinate board meeting logistics and portfolio company touchpoints as needed.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain the highest level of discretion when handling sensitive deal, financial, and personnel information.
