Job Description

Deepgram is a leading platform for the Voice AI economy, providing real-time APIs for speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and production-grade voice agents. More than 200,000 developers and 1,300+ organizations use Deepgram’s voice-native foundation models through cloud APIs or self-hosted and on-premises software.

As the right hand to the CMO, you will protect their time and focus while helping the marketing leadership team operate effectively. You will connect teams and ensure the right work comes together at the right time.

Deepgram expects an AI-first mindset. Team members actively use and experiment with advanced AI tools, integrate them into everyday workflows, and adapt quickly as technology and priorities evolve.

This is a full-time remote role in the United States. Base compensation ranges from $127,000 to $160,000 in locations outside NYC, San Francisco, and Seattle, and from $135,000 to $172,000 in those cities. Compensation depends on work location and job-related skills and experience; listed compensation is base salary and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits.

Deepgram values being yourself, curiosity, collaboration, integrity, smart and fast action, and putting customers first. Candidates who may be experiencing a confidence gap or imposter syndrome are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

  • Operate AI-natively by designing Human+AI workflows for scheduling, drafting, and meeting preparation.
  • Build lightweight systems that eliminate recurring administrative work.
  • Identify operational problems and propose practical solutions.
  • Coordinate across teams and programs, not just within a single leader’s calendar.
  • Exercise sound judgment and discretion with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Manage competing priorities across time zones and calendars without missing details.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with senior stakeholders, internally and externally.
  • Anticipate needs and resolve problems before they reach the CMO.
  • Typically have approximately 1–3 years of experience supporting leaders or coordinating across teams, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • Preferred, but not required: experience supporting a senior leader or executive in a fast-moving startup or high-growth technology environment.
  • Preferred, but not required: hands-on experience with modern AI tools for drafting, summarizing, and automating repetitive work.
  • Preferred, but not required: familiarity with executive-support tools for calendars, travel, expenses, and communications.

Responsibilities

  • Protect and optimize the CMO’s calendar, partnering with them to set and resequence priorities as needs change.
  • Run the marketing leadership operating cadence, including staff meetings, QBRs, offsites, and planning cycles.
  • Coordinate with adjacent teams, including RevOps, Comms, and People, to keep cross-functional work on track.
  • Build Human+AI workflows for scheduling, inbox triage, and meeting preparation to reduce recurring administrative turnaround time.
  • Identify recurring operational friction and deliver one or two improvements each quarter, such as a template, cadence, or automation.
  • Manage complex travel and logistics, avoid missed connections, and close expenses the same day.
  • Keep confidential and sensitive matters secure and handle delicate information with discretion.
