I'm not looking for someone to "manage my calendar." I'm looking for the person who becomes the operator at the center of my orbit — the one who makes everything around me flow so smoothly that I get to soar.
Here's the honest pitch: I'm the real deal. Software engineer turned entrepreneur turned mind debugger. I run Simplero, an all-in-one platform that's helped our members earn $2.44 billion (!) and counting. I run a coaching business (RECODE) that upgrades entrepreneurs to operate from soul. I speak, I sing, I host events. I'm 100% committed and this goes big. No question.
Your job is to handle all the shit I don't need to touch — so I stay in my zone: transmission, coaching, building, creating. The more you handle, the more I soar, and the more there is for everyone. That's the game. We're a team, and it's all about making each other incredible.
Who you are
You love being an executive assistant. Not tolerating it — loving it. You're energized by handling the things I hate. You live to be the co-pilot, the co-creator, the one who has my back.
You're obsessed with SOPs and processes — but not to the point of killing momentum. You streamline and create systems for everything that can be streamlined so we're free to innovate, improvise, and create on top of a solid base.
You're more than a executive assistant, and less than a Chief of Staff.
You get what we're about at Simplero. You get the software. You get the team. You're not afraid to walk in with anyone — "Hey Mauricio, I'm setting this up for Calvin and there's a problem, let's just solve it right now." You get it fixed. I don't have to think about it.
You have a masculine/feminine balance and you get that balance — clean structure that supports flow, not one crushing the other.
You have a sense of humor. Non-negotiable. I can't work with people who don't.
You're secure in yourself. You want to do a great job — but you're not managing my mood or fishing for "do you like me?" I'm an engineer, matter-of-fact, down to earth, with a huge heart, who loves to joke around. What I can't do is caretake someone's emotions around my every last whim. I need someone who'll flip me the bird if I'm being obnoxious. Not overly sensitive. Solid.
Requirements
What you own
- My calendar — you own it. The real question you're always answering: how do we set Calvin up for maximum success, best energy, best flow? You protect my energy like it's your own.
- Scheduling, travel, insurance, bookings — all the logistics that drain me.
- Managing my small team around me — starting with my in-person personal assistant (who's more in the weeds — cooking, household, hands-on stuff). You manage her, run her one-on-ones, build the SOPs, make sure she's operating well. That team may grow.
- Events — come in person, scope the location, build the event SOP/playbook, work it out ahead of time with whoever's on the ground so everything's on point. The event logistics don't require me.
- Research and getting things handled — sharp on AI, Slack, and tech. My personal assistant isn't technical; you are. Dishwasher needs repairing? You get the quotes handled. You'll educate yourself on whatever a task needs — "Grok, teach me everything I need to know to hire for this role, what to look for, typical contract terms" — and you document it.
- Company brain / systems — you're not afraid to build one. Obsidian, Claude Code, whatever. "I hear about this thing, let me experiment, figure it out, and set it up." Then you do it. Talk to our engineers if you need to. You figure it out.
- Integrity radar — you have my back. "Hey, this person — I'm smelling something fishy. If it were me I'd let them go now." You flag it clean. You protect the orbit.
- Mostly business life — but there's some personal in the mix too. (Beth, my Chief of Staff, handles most of finance; you'll touch some of it.)
Responsibilities
How you operate
- Fast, sharp brain. You get things quickly and communicate quickly. I say what I want done, and you ask me exactly what you need to ask so you can do it the way I want it — I don't have to think of everything up front.
- Momentum. You move. You get shit done. Fast — but not too fast. Neither slow nor frantic.
- High agency, low handholding. You take a half-formed thought, ask all the right questions, and run.
- Open, curious, inquisitive. You want to learn and grow. Not rigid in your beliefs — you check in, but you're no pushover. You're not easily persuaded, but you're easily persuaded by what rings true. You don't have your identity wrapped up in your opinions. "This feels true, I'll go with that."
- Not afraid to make mistakes — but not sloppy either.
- Telegram's always on. You're not clock-watching. You have a full life, family, and you prioritize yourself — but if you're around and something comes up, you respond: "I get this. How urgent? Cool, I'll get it tonight / tomorrow / whatever." You love that. And you might have your own shared admin person to handle the lower-value stuff so you stay on the high-value work.
Not for you if
- You need hard 9-to-5 boundaries, clock out mid-day, and go dark all weekend and unreachable.
- You're process-heavy with no outcomes.
- You 're slow — slow to grasp things, slow to communicate, slow to execute. My brain runs fast; yours has to keep pace.
- You need constant validation — the "am I okay? do you like me?" energy where I end up managing your feelings instead of getting shit done. (Wanting to do a great job = great. Being terrified of a mistake in a leaky way that makes it my job to reassure you = no.)
- You get destabilized by directness, intensity, or profanity. You're too sensitive to take a blunt "that's not the question I asked."
- You don't have a sense of humor.
- Politics: if you're all-in on the mainstream legacy-media narrative — loved the COVID mandates, ride-or-die for Kamala — we won't align. I need someone I can be fully real with, who isn't bought into the lying legacy media. That's a non-negotiable.
The vibe
- We're a team, and it's all about making each other incredible. You have my back, I have yours. The more you handle the shit, the more I soar, the more everyone benefits. You love me in my element — because you built the container that lets me get there. It's a beautiful thing.
To apply
Record a 60-second video and tell my current EA:
- What drew you in
- A time you took a half-formed ask and ran with it — what you did, and how you figured out what you didn't know
- Why you're the right fit
