Riskified is seeking an Office and Facilities Manager to join its Global Workplace Operations team in New York City. This role will oversee office and facilities management, workplace planning and utilization, security, vendor management, budget oversight, travel coordination, and executive assistant support.
The position requires working five days per week in the Flatiron office. The base salary range is $90,000–$105,000 annually for candidates performing the role wholly or partly within New York City. Full-time regular employees are also eligible for bonus targets, stock-based awards, and a comprehensive benefits and perks package.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in related positions, preferably in a tech start-up environment.
- Able to work 5 days/week in the company’s office in Flatiron.
- Successful track record supporting office management, security, and building compliance measures.
- Proficient knowledge of building systems.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and competing priorities and adapt to a fluid, high-growth environment.
- Familiarity with lease operations language and execution.
- Proficiency in relevant software, such as facility management systems and Google Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee office operations, maintenance, and office look and feel, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Schedule meeting rooms for employees and clients as needed.
- Conduct daily floor walkthroughs, ensuring office space is up to standards.
- Assist with space planning and utilization, ensuring efficient use of office space and resources and performing space audits.
- Manage vendors, tenants, landlord relationships, and agencies.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure timely and effective delivery of facility-related services.
- Coordinate end-to-end logistics, accommodation arrangements, and itinerary schedules for NYC personnel.
- Own food and beverage delivery services.
- Manage office relocations, renovations, and other improvements.
- Serve as the main point of contact for subtenants while handling landlord relationships and agency coordination.
- Obtain competitive bids for services, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Solve problems quickly and efficiently for general office inquiries.
- Assist in the development and management of the office budget, monitoring expenses and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Provide regular financial reports and updates to management.
- Manage internal office communication.
- Oversee travel arrangements for individuals and groups, including flights, accommodation, and ground transportation; check compliance with the Travel Policy; request budget approval when needed; and handle other travel-related tasks.
- Provide high-level Executive Assistant support to senior leadership, including complex calendar management, meeting coordination, travel planning, expense reporting, preparation of presentations and documents, handling confidential information, and serving as a trusted point of contact to ensure smooth day-to-day executive operations.
