Engine is the AI-native platform for intelligent travel. For a decade, Engine has built the proprietary technology and supply behind modern business travel, serving over 38,000 customers and nearly 2 million travelers, along with leading travel and AI companies that build on Engine's infrastructure. One system powers business travel, group travel, human agents, and AI agents.
Engine is expanding its Senior Leadership Team and is seeking a proactive, highly adaptable Executive Assistant. The primary mission of this role is to empower senior leaders to achieve their strategic goals and OKRs while working closely with a supportive, ego-free leadership team and a collaborative EA group.
This is a remote position with up to 25% travel for executive offsites, leadership meetings, and team events. The role offers direct impact and clear paths for career growth in a fast-paced startup environment that values transparent communication, problem-solving, and ownership.
Compensation packages are based on experience, expertise, and location. In addition to a competitive base salary, all roles receive equity, and some roles may also include an annual bonus. The base pay range is $88,400-$122,300 USD.
Requirements
- Background working in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments.
- Demonstrated ability to handle changing requirements and pivot gracefully.
- Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to ask clarifying questions upfront and consult existing resources independently.
- High responsiveness for urgent requests and comfort navigating multi-time-zone scheduling.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and Slack.
- Ability to travel up to 25% for executive leadership team onsites and corporate events.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct-level support to executive leadership, ensuring seamlessly managed calendars, shifting priorities, and complex logistics across multiple time zones.
- Partner closely with leadership during Senior Leadership Team meetings, contributing directly and maintaining visibility on key business initiatives.
- Serve as a central connector across departments to facilitate cross-functional communication and strategic alignment.
- Coordinate executive travel, prepare meeting agendas, and support the planning of team events and leadership onsites.
- Work closely with the five-person EA team to maintain operational consistency and shared coverage.
- Solve problems resourcefully by referencing internal documentation and leveraging team insights before escalating questions.
