As our Business Manager / Executive Assistant, you’ll work closely with Daniel to coordinate projects, manage operations, and support the smooth running and business development of Spacemakers.

You’ll bring structure, systems and people together and ensure that behind every great idea, there’s solid follow-through.

Requirements

  • Self-motivated and self-organised: able to prioritise, focus, and complete tasks independently without ongoing direction.
  • Relational and professional: works openly and honestly with the Director (Daniel Sih), Head of Coaching (Kylie Sih), and wider team to foster trust and alignment.
  • Committed: seeking a long-term working relationship and eager to invest in the ongoing health of the practice
  • Digitally fluent: confident across workflow tools (spreadsheets, documents, project platforms) and experienced managing websites and CRMs with support
  • Competent using AI tools to improve quality, speed, and creativity
  • Flexible and adaptable: responsive to change and calm under pressure
  • Commercially aware: comfortable preparing quotes, pitching services, and supporting client relationships
  • Curious and growth-oriented: open to feedback and eager to learn
  • A great communicator: proactive, professional, and warm
  • Organised and efficient: detail-oriented, decisive, and dependable

Responsibilities

  • Executive support: scheduling, flights and travel, systems upkeep, CliftonStrengths® codes and follow-up, general administration support
  • Client communications: support Daniel in client coordination, event logistics, and email responses
  • Business development: support marketing initiatives to grow the business, reaching out to potential clients and conferences, taking initiative to unlock solutions in line with agreed strategies
  • Project coordination: timelines, tracking, and reporting
  • Event logistics: manage webinars, workshops, and speaking engagements
  • Subcontractor coordination: supporting administration needs of team members and subcontractors, including project and task tracking
