Job Description

The Administrative Assistant is primarily responsible for providing administrative and organizational support for Executive.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Requires 3 years minimum of relevant administrative support experience.
  • Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all administrative support functions for Vice Presidents including answering phone calls.
  • Prepare and distribute memos, letters, policy changes, reports.
  • Maintain Department files.
  • Receive and distribute mail.
  • Manage the office supplies.
  • Coordinate incoming vendor correspondence (such as acknowledgment letters), to ensure vendor/subcontractor policy compliance.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements.
  • Coordinate interdepartmental conference calls and meetings.
  • Complete miscellaneous projects on an as needed basis.
  • From time to time must complete projects with short notice in extreme time constraints.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
